History by Design, a new design, research and editorial consultancy, was launched on 10th April 2006.

A joint enterprise between writer, researcher and educator Ben Locker, and graphic designer Barry Lowenhoff, History by Design specialises in distinctive and original resources for the heritage, education, archives and museums sectors.
